Goat farming is an essential part of rural Bangladesh’s agricultural system, offering high economic returns with relatively low resource requirements. Goats are a valuable source of meat, milk, and hides, and they thrive well even in challenging environments, making them an ideal livestock for smallholder farmers, especially women.

"Project Goat 1" is a 12-month initiative designed to raise investment for goat-rearing ventures in rural, underprivileged communities. The project focuses on empowering women through financial access, enabling them to participate in sustainable livestock farming. Goat farming not only enhances household income but also contributes to long-term financial security for rural families. This project aims to build resilient communities by promoting livestock-based income generation.
