Shadhin is produced at DigiGram's own factory in Natore, together with rural women's cooperatives — so the work it creates sits in the same villages as the farms it feeds. Feed made close to the farms that use it travels less and reaches them sooner.

Why it matters

The saving on the sack is not the saving

Ungraded feed means the protein and energy content is whatever the batch happened to contain. The animal eats the same volume and converts less of it, so the cycle runs longer and the margin goes with it.
